SEA Sanctuary

The SEA Sanctuary is a spiritual school and sacred retreat where men and women come to focus on inner awareness, spiritual growth and Self-Enlightenment. The Sanctuary is non-profit and founded, nourished, and supported by individuals who share the high ideal of spiritual awakening and self realization, and are dedicated to this purpose. We bring together the ancient wisdom, sacred teachings, and spiritual practice of the West and the East, respecting and embracing all of God’s truths, and the many ways He has expressed Himself throughout time. We do not subscribe to any dogma, creed, or religion. The purpose and mission of The SEA Sanctuary is to provide a sacred and peaceful environment for true spiritual seekers.

Birth of the SEA Sanctuary

One of the delights and purpose of Self-Enlightenment is to reveal the joy of the Infinite which is the joy of Love. It is beautifully expressed in the Chandogya Upanishad:

Chandogya Upanishad

Where there is creation there is progress.

Where there is no creation there is no progress:

Know the nature of creation.

Where there is joy there is creation.

Where there is no joy there is no creation:

Know the nature of joy.

Where there is the Infinite there is joy.

All true progress is an inner creation that leads to the joy of the Infinite.

When in the progress of our soul our God of Love has been

found then the words of the Sufis come true:

In this world I feel joyful because He is the source of joy;

I am in love with all creation because He is the Creator.

I shall drink with joy the cup of sorrow because my Beloved is the cup-bearer:

I will bear pain with gladness, because through Him, I shall be healed.

In our ascension on the path of Self-Enlightenment, we progress to establish a greater depth of Love and Devotion to God. We all know how important connections and links are in our world. The Internet has shown us that we can be immediately linked with any kind of knowledge and information that we want. Many of us keep our favorite websites on our window for immediate access.

Discovering and Knowing your Spiritual Purpose

Knowing the purpose of why you are doing something is all important. In Divine revelation, the purpose is not always revealed to you in the beginning of your mission. However, when it is revealed to you, the energy of a thousand suns is added unto your mission. I would like to share with you the spiritual birth of The Self-Enlightenment Correspondence Program and our Sanctuary.

The Brotherhood of Suns

The Self in man and in the Sun are One.

In ancient Vedic times, the sun was invoked as Surya, Savitri, and Pushan. The magnificent body of the Sun served the Vedic people as a guiding symbol of the Divine. Even today, some Hindus daily recite the ancient dedication to Savitri, the quickening aspect of the solar being. The Sun was the origin of life on our planet and continues to be our life source. Sun is Fire and Light, the primordial teacher and giver of life. The Sun in The Brotherhood of Suns represents the Light of Wisdom that penetrates the darkness of ignorance. Light is a living Spirit which comes from the Sun that establishes a direct relationship with our own Spirit. Light is the first emanation of the Divine. Within it are all the Divine qualities of Love, Wisdom, Understanding, Harmony and Beauty.

Most people think there is only darkness behind closed eyes. But as you develop and concentrate on the “single” eye in the forehead, you will find that your inner sight is opened. You will behold another world, one of many lights, and great beauty.
