Daily Amrit yoga sessions, ‘The Posture of Consciousness’ will be experienced to help guide you in the present moment using inward focus and meditative awareness. All life is a yoga posture. Learn to dismantle reactive behaviors using traditional Hatha Yoga postures to connect deeply to your True Self. Reactive behaviors settle into our bodies as muscle restriction and tension. Integration is accomplished by the complementary interplay of external postures and internal awareness, initiating entry into the sacred union we call yoga. Some benefits include greater flexibility, better digestion, decreased blood pressure, improved mental clarity, and a healthy relationship with the body. The Amrit Yoga sessions include postures, theory, breathing techniques, and meditation. For all levels of yoga practitioners.
You will also experience Yoga Nidra, a series of easily practiced techniques that combine alert awareness and deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra opens the doorway to the non-physical world where you go beyond the barriers of the five senses of the body and mind. Using the integrative sacred space of the third eye, self-healing occurs where your intentions, affirmations, healing, and prayers are actualized. Eliminate stress, unconscious fears, habits, and unresolved karma.
There will be free time Saturday afternoon to continue your inward focus for reflection, journaling, or to experience the many forms of healing therapies offered at SEA Sanctuary/Rejuvena Spa and Delphi.
Throughout the weekend we will focus on cultivating personal practices of wellness and awareness – feeling the energies that surround and nurture the body, mind, heart, and soul. Together we will enjoy healthful exercise, food, spirited and lively discussions, and discovery of self and our environment. This holistic weekend will provide you powerful tools to both enjoy life and also to face life’s difficult challenges.
